Almost 19% of the total population of Ecuador lives in extreme poverty and in unsafe, dilapidated and often precarious housing.
A large percentage of this population is found in remote and marginalized provinces of the country: Manabí, Esmeraldas and the provinces of the Amazon.
The 2016 earthquake made the situation more critical, and we dedicated ourselves to providing housing to those most affected by the earthquake. From this we evolved the goal of eradicating unsafe, precarious housing in Ecuador.
Decent housing is fundamental to the development of individuals, families and, therefore, communities. Safe housing gives occupants the opportunity to live better, prosper, and improves their quality of life significantly.
